Please Note:

I do NOT edit poetry, non-fiction, or literary fiction over 15k words. 

For short stories (max 15K words), my rate is 5c per word.

Who's The Editor?

Hi! My name is Sara Raztresen. As a writer with an educational background in Popular Fiction and Publishing, I'm dedicated to ensuring every manuscript is not only masterfully written, but able to find a place in the market while staying fresh and true to the author's vision.

I have several years experience working with writers on academic, fiction, and nonfiction works in all stages of the writing process: brainstorming, outlining, researching, drafting, and revising. I've also had my own work published in literary magazines in the past, and in 2023, I published my debut fantasy novel,

The Glass Witch. Between my education and experience, I'm well equipped to help writers navigate both the craft and the industry around it.

    • 5 page critique with focus to character, plot, voice, etc.
    • One paragraph critique per chapter in addition to 5 pages
    • Comments and line edits within the body of the manuscript
    • One 30min introduction session to discuss goals, vision, etc
    • One 30min discussion for any questions/concerns with edits

  • Long Novel Editing

    SUITABLE FOR MANUSCRIPTS RANGING 90K - 120K WORDS
    Valid for 3 months+ 7 day free trial
    • 10 page critique with focus to character, plot, voice, etc.
    • One paragraph critique per chapter in addition to 5 pages
    • Comments and line edits within the body of the manuscript
    • One 30min introduction session to discuss goals, vision, etc
    • One 30min session to discuss questions/concerns with edits
